On behalf of our entire team, we’d like to congratulate President & CEO Rob Merwin and his brother, Operations Manager, Ken Merwin for the 10-year anniversary of First Vanguard Rentals and Sales. Working together from the start, when all they had were ideas, strong worth-ethics, and bills to pay, First Vanguard has been molded into a multimillion-dollar supply and rental company with a proud staff.
First Vanguard’s foundation of success has been built on diverse backgrounds. Rob and Ken leaned heavily on their experience in tech, equipment rentals, trucking and the traffic control industries and their strong military backgrounds.
This experience, and the positive influences from others in the industry, gave Rob the knowledge and confidence to start First Vanguard. Rob would be the first to say he couldn’t have gotten here without his brother Ken and all the employees that have helped First Vanguard thrive for 10 strong years.
First Vanguard is proud to be a certified Disabled Veteran Owned business. Honoring his military experience as a member of the Army’s 1st Calvary, Rob incorporated some features from the 1st Calvary into the name and branding. This tribute is a daily reminder of the hard work, commitment and dedication that is needed to succeed.
First Vanguard continues to evolve and overcome obstacles. Each year we have achieved and surpassed our goals by providing outstanding customer service and product knowledge to our valued customers.
